What Is Karma/Kamma (业障)?

Karma is something what we did (in mind, in act, in speak, in listening, in seeing, in desire, in emotion), which become a fruit in our this life or maybe next life. If we do good (good karma/ 善业 ), so our fruit in future is good. If we do bad (bad karma/ 恶业 ), so our fruit in future is bad. All is coming back to where it comes from.

Karma cannot be count, because it countless. We can reduce our bad karma with doing good karma as well. So the big fruit of bad karma could be small fruit, and the small fruit could be dissapear. And we can increase our good karma and at last we can have merit for those.

When you do good karma but u will never know what and when the result comes to you. Some karma fruit is come at this present time and sometime comes after next life.

The result of good karma can be like this :
1. safety in life,
2. no disaster come near us,
3. we live in a peaceful family,
4. our age is very long,
5. our healthy is very good,
6. rich (is from cause and effect),
7. good looking and smart (usually this is a karma in next life),
8. we can get good knowledge and education,
9. etc ...

The result of bad karma can be like this :
1. not safe in life,
2. disaster come near us,
3. we live in a scattered family,
4. our age is very short,
5. our healthy is very bad,
6. poor (is from cause and effect),
7. not good looking and dumb (usually this is a karma in next life),
8. we cannot get knowledge and education,
9. etc ...

Beside this all these result of good and bad karma, we still have to pay our past karma, too bad we didn't know are we already done good karma or done bad karma in this life. So all is still related with past life, present life and future life.

Karma Law : What I give, that’s what I will get.
What I give (in mind, in act, in speak, in listening, in seeing, in desire, in emotion) to something (self, other living beings, objects and conditions) … all is what will I get (in mind, in act, in speak, in listening, in seeing, in desire, in emotion) from something (self, other living beings, objects and conditions)
