What Is Mind in Buddhism?

The lord buddha told us that the mind is naturally radiant, but external objects pollute the mind through the influence of the senses and mental facuties of defilement. USE THE MIND WITH REASONING = As a man with good eyesight,on a journey, would endeavour to avoid any dangerous place, so a wise man in the world of the living being should avoid demeritous deeds too.

In Avatamsaka Sutra (Flower Garland Sutra 華嚴經) has explain, that in 1 second a mind has 1280 billion of thinks. A Buddha can see this mind in some object, from the Level 8 of Boddhisattva (八地菩萨), all can see those shape from a mind. A mind can go straight to the target.

For example : A(girl) think that B(boy) is bad boy. When A think about that, the mind already go to the heart of B and it hit B very hard, because that is not a good thinking about others, and it giving bad effects (for both A and B) the hit mind can make the target get illness even reduce the age.

Another example : A(girl) think that B(boy) is good boy. When A think about that, the mind already go to the heart of B and it touch very soft through B, this is a good thinking giving good effects (for both A and B) and it can make the target more healthy and increase the age.

So becareful when you are thinking about someone, when you think about them neither good or bad, you already make a tie (connection) to them. This connection is call 冤亲债主 (yanqingzhaizhu); yan is hatred, qing is love, zai is dun debt, zhu is pay debt.

And all you have been thinking about someone or about yourself will be save in our karma storage(阿赖耶识), its like a harddisc in computer which can save data.
